In October last year, our Armed Forces compensation specialists, Geraldine McCool and Amanda Marsh, were invited to attend a gala dinner at the Tower of London in support of the Fusiliers Charities and Historic Royal Palaces.
They were joined by our Head of International Travel Litigation, Clive Garner and Banking and Finance partners, Daniel Webster and Andrew Watson. The exclusive event was held at the Tower of London and included a private tour of the Crown Jewels and a drinks reception in the thousand year old White Tower, as well as a speech from Major General Paul Nanson CBE, Commandant of the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst.
We were delighted to host Heather Nicholson, former Officer in the Women’s Royal Navy Service and current Director of Membership Services at Blesma, a charity which works on behalf of limbless veterans. We were also joined by retired Brigadier Peter Fabricius, Colonel Commandant and Trustee at The Royal Army Medical Corps, Colonel Philip Harrison, Commander of the British Army’s North West Headquarters and Brigadier Kevin Beaton, former Commanding Officer at the Royal Centre of Defence Medicine.
It was a truly wonderful and picturesque event to be a part of.
