In November last year, we were delighted to win the North West Armed Forces Award in the category ‘Families, Veterans and Wounded, Injured and Sick’.
The event held at the British Muslim Heritage Centre in Manchester, was attended by a range of special guests including the Mayor of Manchester, Andy Burnham.
Our Armed Forces Compensation Scheme (AFCS) specialist Amanda Marsh (pictured right) accepted the award presented by Colonel Philip Harrison, Commander of the British Headquaters in the North West. Colonel Harrison praised the enthusiasm of our Military team and stated that the firm ‘acts with integrity and rigor on the part of servicemen, sailors and airmen at their greatest time of need’.
The welcome speech proclaimed that ‘whilst the Armed Forces have evolved to meet the demands of significant change; the constant has been the importance of being part of the community as well as contributing to it. This evening plays an important role in that goal and aims to showcase the range of organisations that support and stand behind us’. We’re proud to be recognised as one of these.
Throughout the evening, Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Awards were presented by Paul Griffiths, Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Greater Manchester.
Thanks to our amazing clients, and the charities and organisations we work with – this award is for all of you.
