Biography
I am a Solicitor in the Medical Negligence team at the Leeds office. I work within a team of specialist lawyers who act for clients in a wide-range of claims.
I have experience in dealing with medical negligence claims, ranging from delay in diagnosis to substandard surgery etc. I understand the significant impact this can cause our clients and work hard to ensure their case is dealt with sensitively and professionally.
What Inspired You To Get Into Law?
I have taken up a career in law as I have always had an intuitive mind. Litigation, medical negligence in particular, gives me the opportunity to challenge myself daily whilst learning complex medical issues, treatments and conditions. It also allows me to challenge how a client has been treated and ensure they receive the compensation they deserve.
What Is The Most Rewarding Aspect Of Your Role?
The most rewarding aspect to my job is being able to lessen the burden and stress on our clients. They come to us when they have suffered an injury and being able to reduce the stress, however small, is very rewarding. It’s nice to know that we’re making their lives a little easier by handling their claim and fighting for a successful outcome.
