Biography
I am a Solicitor in the Medical Negligence team and I have worked at Irwin Mitchell since 2013. I investigate concerns that people have about the quality of their medical care.
I help people with a wide variety of cases, but I have a particular interest in eye cases and orthopaedic cases. I'm proud to have achieved some excellent results for my clients in these areas. I am known as always giving clear and correct advice to my clients which they can rely on to make informed decisions.
What inspired you to get into law?
I was always interested in how the law impacts society, and the influence it has on our everyday decisions. When I came to Irwin Mitchell and worked in the medical negligence department, I realised how integral our job was in helping the most vulnerable people in society. I'm really proud to be able to make such a difference to people's lives!
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
Securing a settlement that I know is going to make a huge difference to a client’s life. That makes the job worthwhile!
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
Irwin Mitchell not only want to bring successful claims, but they place a huge amount of importance on patient safety. I enjoy being able to raise awareness and standards in our health system.
What do you do away from the office?
I have a beautiful family who take up most of my time. Any spare time is used training and competing in triathlons. I’m particularly proud of having completed lots of triathlons with my family clapping me on.
