Biography
I am an associate solicitor in the international Personal Injury team at Irwin Mitchell and I'm based in our Birmingham office. I specialise in complex and high value personal injury claims. I have particular experience in cases involving multiple parties, group actions and cross border disputes with complex liability issues arising from the same.
What inspired you to get into law?
I wanted a career where I could help people and make a substantial difference. Having a career in law and in particular personal injury allows me to support people through a very difficult time in their lives.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
Helping people through the process of rehabilitation or adapting their home/ day to day living to help better their quality of life.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
Irwin Mitchell focuses on all aspects of what a client may need as part of their recovery, such as emotional and physical support, rehabilitation or further investigations. I love working for a firm that is so client focused.
What do you do away from the office?
In my spare time I volunteer as Ambulance crew for St John Ambulance attending events around the West Midlands and the rest of the UK. I provide first aid cover as well as supporting and assisting the ambulance service when needed. I've been a volunteer since 2012. I also love to travel so it's safe to say my annual leave never goes to waste!
