Biography
I specialise in representing both adults and children who have sustained catastrophic injuries including brain injuries, spinal cord injuries and serious orthopaedic injuries.
I endeavour to obtain interim payments for my clients as soon as possible in order to ensure that funds are available from an early stage, thereby enabling them to access the treatment, rehabilitation and support that they need.
What inspired you to get into law?
I have enjoyed crime novels and crime dramas from a young age. Although criminal law couldn’t be much further from what I do now, that was probably the point at which my interest was first piqued.
It’s my clients and their families that inspire me on a daily basis. We see what they go through and how strong and resilient people can be and there’s no better motivation to do everything we can to help and support them.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
I enjoy meeting my clients and helping to guide and assist them through an incredibly stressful and overwhelming time. We often meet our clients and their families when they are feeling most vulnerable and the most rewarding point of a case is seeing the difference that we can make to their lives.
What do you do away from the office?
I enjoy sampling Bristol’s array of local eateries and attempting to cook up a storm in the kitchen. To balance it out, I (when the mood suits) enjoy fitness and running in an attempt to try and burn off all the calories.
