Irwin Mitchell is to invest in the future of children with Cerebral Palsy and motor disorders in Sheffield, South Yorkshire and across the UK by supporting key areas of the new home for Paces School.
The leading law firm, who have been huge supporters of the charity over many years, are to sponsor the reception and library area and the outreach classroom at Thorncliffe Hall, which was announced earlier this month as the new base for the special school.
The donation will help Paces in their mission to support more children with life-changing skills – such as sitting, standing, walking, speaking, communication and self-care – using conductive education.
Julie Booth, Head of Fundraising at Paces, said:
“Paces School is already a special place where our children have fun, develop friendships and feel like they belong, and our move to Thorncliffe Hall will allow us to support more young people, and provide the best possible facilities for our amazing pupils.
“We can’t thank Irwin Mitchell enough for their support of our new base and the hugely important reception, library area and outreach classroom. The firm and its staff have been some of our biggest supporters and this investment is a testament to the importance they place on improving the community they are part of.
“We can’t wait to see the spaces they’re sponsoring in action in the years to come.”
