Saturday 25 June 2022 marks this year’s Armed Forces Day, where we pay tribute to ex-service personnel for their heroic contributions and sacrifices for our country.
It offers the chance to show support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community, from serving troops to veterans.
While we support people with military injuries, we’re also proud to work alongside incredible veteran’s charities like Woody’s Lodge, The Daparian Foundation, and The Veteran’s Hub.
These organisations help veterans following their service, where many of them suffer with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Monday 27 June 2022 marks PTSD Awareness Day which aims to raise awareness of this mental health problem.
For Armed Forces Day and PTSD Awareness Day, we’ve teamed up with our three charities to help raise awareness of PTSD amongst veterans and the coping mechanisms they use to combat the disorder.

Dealing with PTSD
Thanks to everyone for sharing their tips on managing PTSD, and to the charities for helping to arrange this with your veterans. We hope these might help other veterans suffering with PTSD.
If you’re a veteran and struggling with PTSD, we encourage you to reach out to a charity like Woody’s Lodge, The Deparian Foundation, The Veteran’s Hub, or other supportive networks.
