Back in April, Irwin Mitchell Scotland and Neural Pathways hosted an all-day conference on the advances in neurorehabilitation at the University of Glasgow.
The event, Innovations in Neurorehabilition: Glimpses of Brilliance, took place after the success of three annual neurorehab conferences in the north-east of England.
Around 140 delegates attended the event along with eight organisations exhibiting including JS Parker Ltd, Merz Pharmaceuticals, BIRT and SABIN. The aim was to provide fresh ideas and topics, generate debate and challenge traditional ideas and practices around advances in neurorehab.
There were a number of high profile speakers on the day including Dr Andrew Curran, Paediatric Neurologist from Alder Hey Hospital, Dr Ewan Lundie, Clinical Neuropsychologist in Psychological Services, and Professor Jonathan Evans from the University of Glasgow.
Feedback from the event was great, with people praising the “excellent content”, “high quality of speakers” and the organisation. One delegate said: “This was a totally refreshing and fully engaging conference – fantastic range of topics and thoroughly enjoyable day, interesting speakers, overall excellent day.”
