Irwin Mitchell Scotland were proud to sponsor two study days in March 2014 for Child Bereavement UK.
The first event took place in Glasgow, followed by a second in Aberdeen. The seminars were aimed at professionals who come into contact with bereaved children and their families in the course of their work including education, social and health services, as well as other charitable organisations.
The half day sessions helped to give professionals a better understanding of the impact bereavement has on children, young people and families, and increase their awareness of the impact of bereavement on children and young people.
Delegates were also updated on the aims and objectives of the Scottish project and how Irwin Mitchell works in partnership with local education, health and social services and other voluntary organisations, linking them with bereavement services in their local areas.
