Irwin Mitchell Scotland are proud to be supporting Buddies Clubs and Services, chosen as our charity of the year for 2014.
Buddies was started by a group of parents in North West Glasgow in October 1994.
They started a Sunday afternoon play club for children affected by disability, most aged five to ten years old. As a result of their disabilities, the children were, and are still, denied the freedom of any sort of play or peer interaction. Existence for most of them was school and home.
To help start our fundraising for Buddies, 22 ladies from Irwin Mitchell Scotland dusted off their running shoes and took part in Glasgow’s Women’s 10k in May.
A year long diary of events are being planned to help raise funds and to support this fantastic cause.
