Lawyers and staff at Irwin Mitchell Scotland LLP have been rewarded for their fundraising efforts at the Scott & Co Scottish Legal Awards.
More than 20 companies, teams and individuals were shortlisted for 17 prestigious awards, which recognise excellence in the Scottish legal profession and fundraising activities for charities in the UK.
Irwin Mitchell’s Glasgow office won the award for Fundraising Firm of the Year at a glittering presentation dinner at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre after wowing judges with their dedication to local charities including: Yorkhill Children’s Foundation in Glasgow, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Macmillan Cancer Support and Child Bereavement UK.
The Glasgow team were also ‘highly commended’ in the Litigation Team of the Year award category and paralegal, Fraser Watson, was also nominated for the Scottish Paralegal Association, Paralegal of the Year accolade.
