During the last year we’ve been celebrating the 25th Anniversary of our Court of Protection Department. Our team began with one person and two clients but has since grown and expanded to today’s department, where we act as professional property and affairs deputy for more than 1,000 clients particularly in complex and high value cases.
Our clients range from new born babies to people who are in their 90’s and the team supports everyone to make the right decisions and to protect their interests to meet their individual needs.
It was only fitting that we celebrated with some of our clients and over the last few months we’ve invited clients across the UK to join us in a celebration, with a great British afternoon tea. With no crust sandwiches, cream scones and a cup of tea and face painting for the children it was a lovely occasion which highlights the positive impact and difference the work of the Court of Protection can achieve.
It has been wonderful to bring clients and their families together to not only celebrate but also to meet each other, chat and share their experiences.
