Outstanding Results Confirm Firm’s Standing As A Leading Full Service Law Firm

The publication of the Chambers & Partners Guide for 2024 has seen another set of outstanding results posted by Irwin Mitchell, with numerous individuals and partners recognised for the first time.

The excellent results span across all of Irwin Mitchell’s key audience areas from services for individuals such as Complex Personal Injury, Private Client and Family Law; as well as services for corporate clients such as Employment, Corporate, Commercial Litigation, Real Estate and others.

This year has seen improvements on 2023 in all core areas of the business. Irwin Mitchell now has 52 ranked departments in 2024, with 23 teams ranked number one. The firm also has 153 individually ranked lawyers, with 29 ranked for the first time.

The results include two newly ranked practice areas in Yorkshire and London; while UK-Wide Inquests improved on their spotlight ranking to move up to band two in the guide, while 90% of all ranked areas maintained their ranking from 2023.

The number of newly ranked individuals has more than doubled since the 2023 guide, while 63% of lawyers maintained their rankings and 11% improved theirs. Overall, 24 individual lawyers from across the firm were ranked number one.

Today the guide covers over 70 specialist areas of law and is a trusted and reliable source of information for those looking for legal services in the UK.

The Chambers rankings follow the publication earlier this month of the Legal 500 UK guide for 2024, which saw thirteen Irwin Mitchell teams move up in the rankings; 132 colleagues recommended and 29 posting improvement from last year. Overall, 90 of the firm’s practice areas were ranked, with 29 achieving tier one status.
