Law Firm Ranks 10th In The Great Place To Work Institute’s Super Large Category
For the third year in a row, Irwin Mitchell has been ranked one of the best UK firms for women to work for, in the annual report from the Great Place To Work Institute.
The national law firm is in 10th place in the Super Large category, showcasing those firms in the UK with over 1,000 employees. In 2021, the firm entered the top ten, which was up four places on 2020’s 13th place in the table.
A consultancy specialising in workplace culture, Great Place To Work helps organisations to create high-performing workplaces where employees feel trusted and valued. The UK’s Best Workplaces for Women awards recognises the high level of engagement and trust in Irwin Mitchell when compared to a range of organisations across all sectors.
The result comes after Irwin Mitchell was named among the best workplaces for wellbeing earlier this year by Great Place To Work. This follows new policies focused on inclusion and flexibility, including ‘flexible by choice’ working, a national wellbeing team, enhanced family leave policies and signing the Menopause Workplace Pledge, further underscoring the firm’s commitment to supporting women in the workplace.
The firm continues to boast the highest percentage of female solicitors of any UK law firm, coupled with one of the lowest gender pay gaps in the legal sector and UK industry overall, and women playing major roles across all levels in the business.
