Specialist Employment Lawyer Delighted With New National Committee Role
Irwin Mitchell Solicitor Sacha Sokhi has been appointed to the Employment Lawyers Association (ELA) Junior Committee.
The ELA represents the views and interests of over 6,000 specialist, qualified employment lawyers in the UK. It aims are to promote the best practice of employment law and to support the work and represent the interests of UK.
ELA’s Junior Committee meets every quarter to discuss the training needs for the junior members, as well as organising social events and discussing pro-bono opportunities.
Sacha in her role at Irwin Mitchell acts for a variety of professionals and senior executives and has assisted clients in bringing claims in the Employment Tribunal for unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing. Sacha has also assisted clients in bringing Breach of Contract claims in the County Court and High Court.
As well as dealing with contentious matters, Sacha advises on non-contentious employment law issues including internal grievance and disciplinary procedures, restrictive covenants, contracts of employment and exit agreements.
