Campaign Organised By Charity Project Hope
With Christmas just around the corner, a team of 16 legal experts from Leeds have been getting into the spirit of giving by packing 200 hampers to be handed out into the community.
This is the second time that law firm Irwin Mitchell has been involved in the festive campaign which is organised by Leeds –based charity Project Hope, which helps disadvantaged families and individuals affected by poverty.
The hampers were filled on 6 December, with items funded by donations from local people and businesses, including Irwin Mitchell, which also raised £275 in sponsorship for Project Hope. The charity also helps people improve their educational skills and emotional wellbeing, and promotes healthy lifestyle choices.
Expert Opinion
"Itβs great to be able to help our local community, particularly at this time of year when things can be more difficult for many families.
We hope the hampers will go far in helping those most affected by poverty this festive season.β
