Nominations Highlight Firm’s Breadth Of Regional Expertise and Litigation Strength
Irwin Mitchell has been nominated in six award categories at this year’s Yorkshire Legal Awards. The winners will be announced in a virtual ceremony on 15 December at 7pm.
For the last two decades, the awards have been honouring the region’s outstanding legal talent and while this year’s ceremony will be very different due to COVID restrictions, the event continues to celebrate the local firms who promote Yorkshire to a national and international audience.
This year, Irwin Mitchell has been shortlisted for Family Law, Private Client and Residential Property awards, while Leeds partner Andrea Jones and Sheffield-based Kelly Lingard are named in the Yorkshire Lawyer and Trainee categories respectively.
News that Ian Toft’s team in Leeds has been nominated in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution category reaffirms the litigation strength of the firm and follows the Leeds office recovering over £500,000 for local hospices in 2020 to fund the care given to victims of asbestos-related disease.
The awards cover the biggest corporate firms and recognise the work of everyone, from rising stars to senior partners. With all the awards fiercely contested and judged by the most respected figures in the Yorkshire legal community, shortlisting is no small achievement.
