Top Rankings And Award Nominations For Successful Team

One of Sheffield’s top family and divorce law teams has enjoyed a trio of successes, including top rankings and award nominations.

Leading national law firm Irwin Mitchell’s Family Law team in Sheffield has seen a host of recent successes, most notably being named as the region’s only top-tier family and divorce specialists in leading independent legal directory Chambers and Partners.

Not only did the team retain its top-band ranking; partner Zoe Round was also named a top Leading Individual in the Sheffield market and associate Maisie Huynh was listed as an Associate to Watch for the second year in a row. Maisie is the only non-partner in the field and region to have been featured in the directory.

The team’s success was confirmed again in The Legal 500’s rankings as well, being named as a top-tier family and divorce law team. Zoe and Maisie were named once more alongside new entries for solicitor James Henshall and senior associate, Melanie Hadwin.

In a hat-trick of celebrations, the Sheffield and Leeds Family Law teams have also been nominated at the 2020 Yorkshire Legal Awards for Family Law Team of the Year. The awards recognise the best and brightest in the Yorkshire industry, with Irwin Mitchell picking up a total of six nominations.
