Expansion in Thames Valley Region For Irwin Mitchell in 2020
The Reading office of Irwin Mitchell has begun 2020 by appointing a new solicitor to the Tax, Trusts and Estates (TTE) team as the firm develops its expansion plans in the region.
Kiran Mahal, joins the national law firm from Charsley Harrison LLP in Windsor as part of Irwin Mitchell’s growing TTE business opportunities. Kiran’s arrival follows the appointment of Robert Mulvany in 2019, who is also a key part of the TTE Reading office team.
Kiran, who qualified as a solicitor in 2018, has expertise in preparing wills, estate planning and trust administration, often dealing with high-value and complex estates.
Having opened its doors last year, Irwin Mitchell’s 15th regional office in Reading is developing the firm’s reach into the Thames Valley region.
Kiran’s role will see her support the existing TTE team’s work in delivering excellent client service while enabling the business as a whole to achieve its wider objectives.
Expert Opinion
“Opening the Reading office was part of our aim to grow our private client business and legal services in the region. The TTE team plays a big role in that objective so Kiran is joining us at a really exciting time, so it’s a pleasure to welcome her on board.
Kiran’s appointment is an example of Irwin Mitchell’s commitment to recruiting the very best new legal talent. As both individual and business clients increasingly take advantage of the different legal and financial services we offer, growing the talent and expertise at our disposal is a key feature of our future development both in Reading and firmwide.” Sarah Phillips - Head of Lifetime and Estate Planning in the Thames Valley
