Naomi Neville and Yousafa Hazara Welcomed To Firm
Leading national law firm Irwin Mitchell’s national Tax, Trusts and Estates team has appointed two new associates to its Chichester and London offices.
Senior associate Naomi Neville, based in the firm’s Chichester office, joins from Shoosmith’s Whiteley office where she was head of the Wealth Protection team. She is experienced in handling estate and tax planning, lifetime gifting, complex wills, trusts, and lasting powers of attorney matters among others.
Naomi has a dedicated client base consisting of high-net-worth individuals, trustees, business owners, directors, entrepreneurs and property owners, and she also advises corporate clients on trusts in a corporate context.
Since 2012 she has been a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and was ranked as an Associate to Watch in the 2019 Chambers HNW guide.
Associate Yousafa Hazara joins the London Tax, Trusts and Estates team, which focuses on international tax, from Howard Kennedy. She advises on a full range of matters including offshore asset structuring, estate planning and wealth structuring. Her client base includes high-net-worth individuals, international families, trustees and beneficiaries among others.
Yousafa is a member of the Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), and has completed the STEP Advanced certificate on UK tax for international clients.
Naomi and Yousafa join one of the largest national Tax, Trusts and Estates teams in the country; the team recently had success in the Supreme Court where the Court ruled that a gift by will to a charitable trust subject to the law of Jersey is exempt from inheritance tax.
The national team recently welcomed new solicitor Sophia Parkes to its Gatwick office in August of this year and partner Ashley Hill to the London office in July.
