Irwin Mitchell Shows Support For Family Fund
The work done by a national charity based in York has been praised by a team of legal experts.
Family Fund is the UK’s largest charity providing grants for families raising disabled or seriously ill children and young people, with an aim of providing 150,000 grants and services across the UK by 2022.
To help achieve this goal, the organisation welcomes the ongoing support from law firm Irwin Mitchell, who recently provided £300 in sponsorship, and lawyers Sophie Oyston and Alan Ball paid a visit to the charity’s York office on 3 May with a special delivery of cupcakes.
Expert Opinion
“We have been supporting the Family Fund for over two years now and we are proud of our continuing relationship. One of our most recent efforts with the charity was an advice workshop and presentation at their information day in February.
I commend the work done by the charity, providing grants for a wide range of items to help families that are struggling financially, emotionally and physically with the demands of raising a disabled or seriously ill child. This includes anything from washing machines to animal assisted therapy and these grants help improve their quality of life.”

The next Family Fund information day will be held in Leeds on Wednesday 12 June.
