Investment In Growing Team Continues

Law firm Irwin Mitchell has again highlighted its strong credentials in the mid-corporate market after being named as one of the most active lawyers for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) work in the UK during 2018.

Experian, the global information services company, has ranked Irwin Mitchell in 10th place within its UK league table which is based on the number of corporate transactions it has advised clients on throughout 2018. 

The firm has invested in building its Corporate team in recent years and in 2018 further bolstered its team with the appointments of Leeds-based partner, Gavin Maddison, and London partner Debbie Serota. Senior associate Catherine Hinchliffe has also joined in the last 12 months.

In terms of regional breakdown, Irwin Mitchell was placed 1st in the South East and moved up to 7th in the Midlands. The team was also recognised in the league table in the South West.
