Irwin Mitchell Joins Other FLI NET Members At The Lawyer European Awards

Irwin Mitchell along with other First Law International (FLI) delegates from across the world came together in force at the prestigious The Lawyer European Awards 2019 on 19 March held in London.

For the second consecutive year, FLI was nominated as a finalist for the ‘The Global Networks of The Year 2019’ (last year receiving the Judges’ High Commendation).  In addition, FLI NET members were also nominated for ‘Law Firm of The Year: Central Europe’; Law Firm of the Year, The Baltics; Law Firm of the Year, The Benelux and European Specialist Law Firm of the Year.  In all, FLI walked away with two high distinctions:  FLI NET Poland (Maruta Wachta) was awarded the Law Firm of the Year for the second consecutive year; and Ellex of Lithuania received the Judges High Commendation.  FLI NET Luxembourg (Vandenbulke) was a finalist in two classes.

First Law International was noted for being the most represented law network during the event and continues to demonstrate its members commitment to business development and legal excellence.

Corporate partner and Head of Irwin Mitchell’s International Group, Bryan Bletso, was joined at the event by other Irwin Mitchell partners, Sybille Steiner, Debbie Serota and Claire Marie Cornford and Business Development manager, Rob Cowling.

This year was one of the highest attended events with client firms such as Banco Santander, CBRE Global Investors, European Investment Fund, Siemens Gamesa, South of Europe and Africa Region, Sodexo, Truata, and Uberin attendance.
