New Regional Managing Partner Targets Growth Across All Divisions
The head of Irwin Mitchell’s Manchester office has hailed today’s move to One St Peter’s Square as a key milestone for the firm and says she’s optimistic that it will fuel further growth across its Business, Personal Injury and Private Wealth teams.
Ros Bever, who was appointed as Regional Managing Partner at Irwin Mitchell in Manchester in May, says the move marks a significant investment in its 250 people based in the city and will revolutionise how the business operates.
“Our ambition is to be widely recognised as the leading provider of both personal and business legal services within the region and this move provides a platform for us to deliver this,” said Ros.
Irwin Mitchell signed a 15-year lease for 33,300 sq ft of office space earlier this year and from today, it now occupies one and a half floors within the 13 storey building.
The new office has been designed to support agile working and will enable all employees within Irwin Mitchell’s Personal Injury, Business Legal Services and Private Wealth divisions to be based on one floor. The design incorporates 17 meeting rooms, including 10 in the client suite, and a large modern ‘break-out’ area for staff called ‘Town Square’ which overlooks Manchester’s Central Library.
Expert Opinion
“This is a positive and extremely exciting move for Irwin Mitchell in Manchester and will help revolutionise the way we work and collaborate with each other.
“The smaller footplates in our previous building didn’t always facilitate cross-working across all of our teams, but this new building will make a huge difference.
“The innovative design reflects the importance we place in our people and I’m confident that not only have we created an appealing environment in which to spend time and interact, but we have a very modern space which will benefit our clients and ensure we deliver the highest quality legal services to them.”

One St Peter’s Square is located in the heart of the city’s business district. It is adjacent to the Metrolink tram station and is a few minutes’ walk from Piccadilly and Oxford Road stations.
In April, Irwin Mitchell Private Wealth launched a new Will, Trust and Estate Disputes team in Manchester headed up by senior associate Nazia Nawaz. It also boosted the ranks of its family team with the arrivals of partner Katie McCann and senior associate Carole Nettleton.
These appointments follow the arrival of three Court of Protection partners, Lucy Nicol, Damian Hodkinson and Gillian Hitchen, and two Corporate partners, Adam Kaucher and Victoria Zivkovic.
