Staff From Irwin Mitchell Spread Festive Cheer
Lawyers from the Birmingham office of national law firm Irwin Mitchell have been spreading festive cheer this Christmas by making special arrangements for Santa Claus to come to town to deliver gifts to children in the city.
Staff from the office were delighted when Father Christmas and his elves took time out of their busy schedules to deliver gifts to children following a performance of “A Christmas Carol” on 10 December 2018. The event was organised by a charity, Contact, which support families with disabled children.
Following this Santa jumped in his sleigh, led by Cupid, Dasher, Dancer and the other reindeers, to visit pupils at Wilson Stuart School on 17 December and to Mayfield School two days later. Both schools provide a safe and nurturing learning environment for children with special educational needs.
The very special deliveries were the latest examples of how Irwin Mitchell’s Birmingham office is committed to providing support to causes and organisations which undertake vital work in the community, with the legal experts being delighted that Santa was able to lend a hand.
Leanne Leighton, a specialist medical negligence lawyer at Irwin Mitchell was involved in contacting the North Pole.

“It is fantastic that the big man was able to help us out on each day and very fortunate that his schedule matched up so perfectly with our own. We are already deep in discussions to see if he may also have a spare couple of days next year too.” Leanne Atkinson - Associate Solicitor
