Ambitious Yorkshire Firm Chooses Norwich As Third Location
Yorkshire-based Gravity Fitness expects its latest indoor trampoline park to be open and ready for business by April this year after signing up to a 15 year lease at Riverside Entertainment in Norwich.
The Bridlington leisure company has agreed a lease for a 30,693 sq ft (2,851 sq m) site and has confirmed it is on the lookout for additional spaces in other high footfall locations.
Its other sites are at Lockmeadow Entertainment Centre in Maidstone and Xscape in Castleford.
Harvey Jenkinson of Gravity Fitness Limited comments: “Our first park in Castleford is performing exceptionally well and the very successful opening weekend in Maidstone created a 35% increase in footfall for other leisure operators at the site. We have already seen customers travelling from all across the county to bounce with us and are excited to continue our expansion in 2016.”
Gravity was again advised by the real estate team at the Leeds office of law firm Irwin Mitchell.

Steve Henderson, retail director at Savills, said: “Trampoline parks are adding a new and exciting dimension to the UK leisure scene after becoming hugely popular in the US.
