Sixth Year In Seven That Irwin Mitchell Has Been Recognised For Its Rehabilitation Services
Irwin Mitchell has today (11/09/2015) won an award for the sixth year in seven recognising firm’s work on behalf of people who have suffered serious injuries at the Rehabilitation First awards.
The market-leading team was recognised alongside insurer Aviva PLC because of their work in helping a client who suffered a serious brain injury in an accident in 2006. He also suffered massive internal injuries and shattered legs which initially left him unable to walk.
Adrian Wright, from Rugby, has since trekked the Inca trail as part of his recovery from the traumatic brain injury he suffered in a car accident and he is now also seeking to help other people with serious injuries to get their lives back on track.
Specialist serious injury lawyers at Irwin Mitchell represented Adrian and were able to secure him a settlement, which is now managed by the firm’s Court of Protection team who ensure the funds enable him to access the rehabilitation he needs.
Matt Brown, a Serious Injury Partner at Irwin Mitchell was joined by Adrian when they received the award at a ceremony at the Royal Garden Hotel in London hosted by Post magazine. Judges were looking for ways in which lawyers overcame obstacles and worked collaboratively to help clients to maximise their recovery.
