Irwin Mitchell Has Been Involved With 'Top Flight' Logistics Park Since Inception
National law firm Irwin Mitchell’s real estate team has advised key client, IDI Gazeley on the sale and forward funding of Plot 230 Magna Park, Milton Keynes to Standard Life Assurance Limited. The property, which is currently under construction by IDI Gazeley, is to be a 638,000 sq ft distribution warehouse for John Lewis plc and is to be their third unit at Magna Park with practical completion expected around November 2015. Standard Life acquired the property by way of forward funding for £87.5m. The Irwin Mitchell team also acted on the pre-letting of the unit to John Lewis in February 2015.
The Irwin Mitchell team was led by real estate partner, Louise Cartwright, assisted by associate, Emma McPeake. Construction partner, David Parton, assisted by associate, Vanessa Greaves, advised on the construction aspects of the deal.
