Children and Driver Injured In Road Traffic Collision

Four children and a driver were injured after a school bus and a van collided outside the Perthshire village of Murthly this morning (February 15th).

Kinclaven Road was closed as emergency services worked at the scene following the incident, which saw the double-decker bus collide with a Volkswagen Caravelle.

According to Tayside Police, the 34-year-old van driver suffered a head injury and a broken collarbone in the crash and was taken to Dundee’s Ninewells Hospital for treatment. Three children suffered minor injuries while the fourth was taken to Perth Royal infirmary as a precautionary measure.
