London Office Recognised For Fundraising

Model and presenter, Lisa Snowdon, today met with law firm Irwin Mitchell to celebrate the success of their charity partnership with Breast Cancer Care.

As an Ambassador for the charity, Lisa was on hand to thank Irwin Mitchell and all their staff for their support. Irwin Mitchell has supported Breast Cancer Care for a number of years and the London office has raised £5750 in the last three years alone. The money is used to ensure Breast Cancer Care’s information and support services remain free to anyone who needs them.

Speaking at the charity’s head office, Lisa said, “My grandmother and aunt have both experienced breast cancer so my family know all too well how vital Breast Cancer Care’s services are.  It’s terrifying to be told a member of your family has breast cancer and you have so many unanswered questions and concerns.  Thankfully Breast Cancer Care is there for people like me as well as the person who has been diagnosed with this dreadful disease.

Irwin Mitchell hold regular Pink Fridays and Strawberry Teas to raise money for Breast Cancer Care. In addition, they also provide pro bono advice to support Breast Cancer Care’s Helpline team.
