Menopause in the Workplace
In this module, managers learn why menopause in the workplace is an issue that they need to be aware of, how they can feel more confident in talking to employees about it and how to support them.
In the module, we cover:
- What is the menopause and the typical symptoms?
- Why menopause is a relevant issue for business
- How an employee’s performance and wellbeing in work may be impacted unless steps are taken to support from an employer’s perspective
- How employees can be encouraged to take steps for their own wellbeing in support of managing symptoms
- What the legal risks of not being supportive
- How managers can approach discussions with employees on this issue.

Data Subject Access Requests
In this module, managers will understand what one is, how to respond, and the costs of getting it wrong.
In the module, we cover:
- What a DSAR is
- Timescales for response
- How and where to search for personal data
- Where to search
- The consequences of failing to comply with a DSAR.
The cost for this course is £500 + VAT.
Sexual Harassment at Work (for employees and managers)
Two modules as one course - you’ll understand the obligations on employers and your role in preventing sexual harassment in the workplace. This training aligns to the requirements under the legal framework in the Worker Protection (Amendment of Equality Act 2010) Act 2023 which imposes a positive legal obligation on all employers to take reasonable steps to protect their staff from being sexually harassed at work.
What we cover in this module:
- What is sexual harassment, with examples. This will include examples of unwanted conduct of a sexual nature and also conduct which is because someone has, for example, rejected a person’s sexual advances as well as third party harassment.
- The standards of behaviour you are expected to follow
- What to if you experience it or witness it
- The process you should follow if you wish to raise a complaint or seek support to stop it.
Managers (additional module) – we recommend this be bought in addition to the above. It builds on the above principles and content, explaining to managers:
- The risks for the organisation if it doesn’t do enough to prevent sexual harassment
- The preventative measures that organisations should take to reduce the risk of sexual harassment happening in our workplace
- What to do if they become aware of conduct which could amount to sexual harassment
- How do to deal with third party harassment.
This module costs £1,200 +VAT for both modules. You’ll receive these together with a risk assessment tool (optional use – the need for assessing risk will be referenced in the managers’ module).

Investigations for managers
In this module, managers receive a more in-depth look at a fair investigation process with step by step practical guidance to help them feel more confident in conducting an investigation.
In the module, we cover:
- What is expected of a reasonable investigation
- Practical tools and scenarios examples which work through principles about collation of events, interviewing witnesses and coming to a conclusion
- Explanations for how the investigation feeds into a disciplinary or grievance situation
- Common problem areas which can inflate issues or cause unnecessary delay

Harassment in the workplace
Aimed at all employees, those participating in this module will have a better awareness of the importance and purpose of promoting equality diversity and inclusion in the workplace with a specific focus on harassment. They’ll understand what amounts to harassment and their role to support prevention and addressing issues when they arise.
In the module, we cover:
- What is harassment in law? We give practical examples
- How bias and micro-aggressions can also lead to unwanted conduct/harassment
- The importance of preventing harassment
- What can be done to help people raise issues when they arise
- How to respond if they see harassment or if harassment is reported to them.
The module includes an accompanying workbook and answer booklet.

Equality, diversity, and inclusion for employees
This course is aimed at employees. It will help them to understand what is meant by equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace; why it is important and the role that employees play in supporting their employer with this. It is an overview of the principles that policies and procedures relating to prevention of harassment, inclusion initiatives and equality policies will be based.
In the module, we cover:
- Key terms – diversity, equity, and inclusion – what do we mean by this?
- Why does it matter in the workplace?
- Unconscious bias – what is it, and why does it affect everyone?
- Protected characteristics – what are they?
- Promoting respect, including around opinions and differences
- Why some may be entitled to reasonable adjustments when you think they don’t have a protected characteristic (hidden disabilities)
- What is harassment including sexual harassment and how to prevent it
- Summary of everyone’s role in equality and diversity.
This module costs £950 + VAT.
