Biography
I am a grade 3 Paralegal. I work within our award-winning military injury team and specialise in helping veterans bring claims under the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme.
What inspired you to get into law?
If I am honest, I accidently fell into law about 17 years ago as a legal secretary and I have worked my way up to my current position. From the moment I landed, I developed a passion for helping people and love the field of work I am currently in.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
I find that listening to the feedback from client is extremely important it allows me to understand things from their point of view. It is also very rewarding and when hear how I have been able to play a part in helping to improve their lives for the better.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
Irwin Mitchell isn’t just my work place, it's like having a very large second family. Everyone cares about how you are and genuinely shows an interest in you as an individual. It doesn’t matter what your job title is, you're treated in the same caring way.
What do you do away from the office?
When I'm not at work, I love to spend time gardening and creating bespoke items for my home.
