Biography
I am a counsellor who supports clients that are experiencing changes or challenges within family relationships. I help them navigate difficult emotional situations with a combination of counselling and coaching.
I have had a diverse career working with clients privately and in organisations. I am passionate about supporting clients through significant life events and facilitating change and growth.
My specialisms are working with individuals experiencing trauma, domestic abuse and relationship breakdowns.
What inspired you to become a counsellor?
Without realising it, I had been moving towards therapy for some time. Having volunteered in a local hospital, I developed a passion for helping people at pivotal moments of their lives.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
I love being able to help people overcome difficulties and to access their untapped potential and resilience.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
Being part of an inclusive, knowledgeable and experienced team; who always have their clients well-being and interest at the heart of everything they do.
What do you do away from the office?
Hiking with my Romanian rescue dog, theatre and the arts, spending time with my adult children and friends, reading and travel.
