What inspired me to get into Financial Services?
I had always aspired to work in some form of Financial Services. As a qualified management accountant, I enjoyed working with numbers, however I missed the people interaction. I therefore took my interpersonal skills and began helping individuals with their own financial planning needs becoming a Financial Advisor.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
No doubt it is the ability to have a significant impact on a clients life. Whether that be in the short, medium or most likely the longer term, this gives a real satisfaction in knowing I have helped them achieve their needs. Most of my clients require ongoing support, so it is heartening knowing that these relationships will be long lasting.
What do you do away from the office?
Family is an integral part of my life away from work. Family gatherings, holidays, meals are all regular events.
Aside from Family, Newcastle United are my other love in life. I now go to games with my daughter, and we try, where possible, to make a day of it.
I also enjoy cooking and watching all sports, both live and on Tv.
