Biography
I'm an Associate Costs Technical Specialist and Advocate based at our London office but covering matters nationally. I graduated from university in 2013 and have since gained a wealth of experience practising costs from 2014.
I've always had a keen interest in advocacy and technical costs issues. Since 2017, I've been practising as an Advocate, representing clients in a range of costs hearings. I have attended hearings in matters relating to complex personal injury, family law, public law, and will dispute claims.
I have provided costs advice in a range of business areas including high-value commercial costs claims. I have also handled a number of claims for high-profile clients.
Amongst the differing areas of costs, I particularly enjoy advising on solicitor/client costs, costs management, commercial claims, fixed costs and attending Joint Settlement Meetings. I am committed to understanding my client's needs and driving cases for the best possible result for each client.
I spoke before an audience of approximately 100 people at the first Women in Costs Seminar in January 2023 on different character strengths to support women in business development, conducting litigation and shaping their own careers. I really enjoyed speaking on such a passionate and personal topic and of course, supporting others in the industry.
