Biography
I specialise in CICA (Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority) claims including assault, sexual and physical abuse and fatal cases. I have over 15 years' experience dealing with CICA claims and all types of injuries and clients. I qualified as a Solicitor in September 2018 prior to beginning my role at Irwin Mitchell. I represent clients throughout the CICA process including at Appeals with the CICA Tribunal.

What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
Irwin Mitchell is a great place to work. My colleagues really make the experience of working here every day as everyone is friendly, knowledgeable and supportive to each other.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
It is rewarding to achieve a successful outcome for clients particularly those who have no other option other than to pursue a CICA claim. I have helped many clients, and it is always a great feeling being able to do a good job especially for those clients who are vulnerable and have been through difficult and traumatic experiences.
What inspired you to get into law?
I have always liked the idea of helping other people and supporting them where they may not have any other recourse. The law was also something that interested me from a young age and I knew quite early on what I wanted to do.
What do you do away from the office?
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love music especially Rock and Blues and going to concerts. I'm also a bit of a telly addict and enjoy trying new places to eat..
