Biography
I’m a solicitor in the Will, Trust and Estate disputes team and I'm based in our Birmingham office. I assist clients with a range of legal services including:
- Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 claims
- Challenges to Wills
- Trustee and Executor disputes
- Professional Negligence claims
- Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 claims
- Construction and Rectification disputes.
I understand that this is a very emotional and stressful time for my clients so I always aim to make my advice clear and easy to understand. I also make sure to try and resolve matters as cost effectively as possible.
What inspired you to get into law?
I’ve always been interested in law because it affects all aspects of our daily life. I especially enjoy working in this area as I help clients at a very distressing time and it's so rewarding when I can help them reach a satisfactory outcome. It can make a big difference to a client’s life.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
For me, the most rewarding aspect is the satisfaction I get from achieving a great result for my client and guiding them through the legal process.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
I love working at Irwin Mitchell as there’s so much support available. With a national team, there are many years of experience in this area of law which gives us an advantage when dealing with cases.
I also love the environment as everyone is encouraged to develop their skills and become the best lawyer that they can be.
What do you do away from the office?
In my spare time I enjoy exercising, visiting the beach and socialising. I also love travelling and visiting new places.
