Biography
I’m a Solicitor in the Medical Negligence team at Irwin Mitchell. I qualified as a Solicitor in May 2024.
I specialise in representing people injured as a result of medical negligence by hospitals, healthcare providers or GPs. I also represent families with fatal claims and inquests.
I manage my own caseload and I’m particularly interested in claims regarding oncology, maternal injuries, spinal cord injury, orthopaedic, and surgical claims. I’m also interested in most other areas of medical negligence to develop my experience. I assist other members of the team with their high value case load, including birth injuries.
I am passionate about my work and helping others. I pride myself in my client care skills and enjoy working with my clients to get the best result for their claim.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
I enjoy working with my clients and inspirational people to help improve the quality of their lives. Many of my clients have suffered life changing injuries or lost their loved ones, working with such strong people collaboratively is very rewarding.
What inspired you to get into law?
I have always had a passion for helping others so I have always been fascinated by the law and helping those who have been wronged. I was particularly interested in Medical Negligence due to the mix between law and medicine. I find it very rewarding to be able to support clients and help make a real difference to the quality of their lives.
What do you do away from the office?
I enjoy walks in the countryside with my husband and dog. I also enjoy attending music festivals and going to the theatre. I love spending time with my friends and family.
