Biography
I specialise in helping people who've been injured due to medical negligence, covering substandard medical treatment from hospitals, GPs or private medical practitioners. This includes people who've suffered kidney, urological, brain, nerve and orthopaedic injuries, as well as those who've experienced a delay in diagnosis of cancer or negligent surgical treatment.
What inspired you to get into law?
My main motivation for going into law was to help vulnerable people who are facing difficult or challenging situations.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
Our clients are generally in a very difficult point in their life when they first contact us. It’s incredibly gratifying to see how compensation can turn their life around and give a positive outcome to negative circumstances by helping with their recovery and rehabilitation.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
I work with fantastic people at Irwin Mitchell. I feel very lucky to have trained with lawyers who are at the top of their field and are so dedicated to their clients.
What do you do away from the office?
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my son, walking my dog and going to the theatre.
I also volunteer for Crisis at Christmas every year and work with a legal support charity, Amicus.
