Biography
I am an Associate Director in the financial planning team at IM Asset Management (IMAM). I am responsible for providing financial and investment advice, ensuring the appropriate structure and tax efficiency, predominantly to the recipients of personal injury settlements. Over the last 12+ years I have gained a wealth of experience in dealing with claimants, trustees and Deputies.
What inspired me to become a Financial Adviser
I was fortunate to be able to purchase my first property in my early 20’s, but only because I had received some good advice from a family friend who was …….. a financial adviser. A few years later I had the opportunity to join an Insurance Company and started on my road to becoming an adviser. The rest as they say, is history – 25 years+ of it!
Most rewarding part of the role
The appreciation of clients for a job well done. I have a quite a number of very long standing clients and the fact that they are still really positive about their experience is fantastic.
Away from the office
With 2 children in the latter stages of University, my wife and I are finally getting some time back for ourselves. We love walking in the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales with our dog, family holidays and the occasional glass of wine.
