Biography
I am an Associate Solicitor working in the Asbestos Related Disease Team based in our London office. I represent clients who've been diagnosed with asbestos related conditions such as, mesothelioma, asbestosis, pleural thickening and asbestos-related lung cancer. I assist our clients in seeking justice for conditions that can be life-changing for them. I do this whilst working to secure them the best legal and financial advice they deserve.
I am a qualified solicitor in both England & Wales and Scotland. I regularly advise on clients with cross-border claims to ensure they're claims are brought in the right jurisdiction.
What inspired you to get in to law?
I enjoy overcoming challenges. My legal career has enabled me to help people overcome their own challenges.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
Most clients I help are likely at a stage in their life they never anticipated. We may well be their first experience of engaging with lawyers. Being able to help them navigate their claim, and put their worries at ease is really rewarding.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
Being a national law firm with multiple service offerings, having the firm as a ’one stop shop’ for our clients’ legal needs really helps bolster the service I can provide our clients.
What do you do away from the office?
I love to travel, so you may find me on a beach, on a ski slope or on a city break. When I’m not on holiday, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family.
