Biography
I am an Associate Solicitor in the Serious Injury team, dealing with all types of serious personal injury claims. I specialise in spinal cord injury claims and cases involving head injuries.
I have represented both adults and children who have sustained injuries in a wide variety of ways, from birth injuries to road traffic accidents, cyclist and motorcyclist accidents, accidents at work, sports injuries and falls.
What Inspired You To Get Into Law?
I think originally my inspiration may have been the TV programme LA Law! Unfortunately my legal career hasn't been quite as glamorous. Ultimately though, it was a desire to work with people and to help them through incredibly challenging times.
What Is The Most Rewarding Aspect Of Your Role?
It is a very great privilege to work with clients and their families at what is likely to be the most difficult and challenging time they will ever have to face. To be able to make a difference to their outcome and to see what those clients are able to achieve with the right support is incredibly rewarding.
What Do You Like About Working At Irwin Mitchell?
Our innovative and pioneering approach which often sees us challenging the law on behalf of our clients and fighting for the rights of injured people. I admire our commitment to finding ways of helping people who have sustained serious injuries, even when there may not be a compensation claim that can be pursued.
What Do You Do Away From The Office?
Life outside the office revolves around my three and five year-old daughters, who constantly amaze and entertain me. When I have a moment to myself, I like keeping fit by running or attending military style bootcamp training sessions.
