Biography
I'm a Chartered Financial Planner with over 15 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry.
I have the pleasure of providing advice to my clients to help them achieve their short, medium and long term financial goals whilst ensuring their financial plans continue to accurately reflect their needs.
What inspired you to get into financial services?
From a young age I always loved maths, numbers and anything to do with analysis. I therefore always imagined I would have a job in financial services.
In my late teens, I took a role at a bank providing small businesses with asset finance to help them grow. The relationships with my clients were short and transactional and I yearned to be a greater part of my clients financial planning. A few years later I moved into a role within financial planning team at the bank and instantly knew I had found my home in financial services. I love helping people, hearing their stories and understanding what was important to them and I feel very lucky to work in a role where I get to do all of this alongside my love for numbers!
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
Getting to work with the most incredible clients and help them achieve their goals. Most of my client require ongoing support and it is a pleasure build long lasting relationships with them and support them throughout their lifetime.
What do you do away from the office?
Away from the office I love spending time with my son, daughter and husband. We enjoy holidays, trips to the seaside and local parks, woodland walks and spending as much time as possible in the great outdoors!
