Biography
I am a paralegal in the Serious Injury Team at Irwin Mitchell in Sheffield. I have worked at Irwin Mitchell for over six years having started life as an office administrator in the Serious Injury Team and becoming a paralegal in 2017.
I primarily assist Ian Whittaker in dealing with matters such as serious orthopaedic injuries, Chronic pain cases and fatal accidents.
What Inspired You To Get Into Law?
I was interested in law from a fairly early age and when it was introduced as a subject to be studied at my school I jumped at the chance. This led to me undertaking a Law and Criminology course at University.
What Is The Most Rewarding Aspect Of Your Role?
I get satisfaction from helping people who are going through difficult times in their lives whether that be by way of the introduction of rehabilitative care or the awarding of settlement monies.
What Do You Like About Working Irwin Mitchell?
The best thing about working at Irwin Mitchell is sharing my working day with my fantastic colleagues. Not only is there a great wealth of legal knowledge spread amongst the team, but I have made friends for life.
What Do You Do Away From The Office?
Away from the office I am an avid football supporter and can usually be seen dotted around the country following Sheffield Wednesday.
I enjoy cycling and try to get out on the bike a couple of times per week.
I also enjoy photography and cannot resist a good walk with my camera.
