Biography
I’m a Senior Associate in the Costs Management Team, based in our Sheffield office. I first joined Irwin Mitchell in 2003, three years after joining, I passed my Costs Lawyer Exam.
Since passing my exam, I've become a Team Leader in the Costs Management Team in 2008. In 2011 I became an Associate, and was promoted to Senior Associate at Irwin Mitchell in 2023.
What Inspired You To Get Into Law?
I watched too much LA Law and Ally McBeal with my mum when I was little. Then every time I completed a career’s advice form at school, it always brought Law out as the result, so I applied to do a Law Degree, which I did at Leeds University.
What Is The Most Rewarding Aspect Of Your Role?
Generating paid fees for the firm to enable it to keep providing access to justice.
What Do You Like About Working At Irwin Mitchell?
I love the culture of working for Irwin Mitchell, since joining in 2003, the support from the top down has been fantastic.
What Do You Do Away From The Office?
I like to watch TV, read and hang out in the company of my daughters, husband and friends!
