Chartered Legal Executive helping clients plan for their future by advising on and preparing Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney. Laura also specialises in estate administration and post-death tax planning matters.
What Inspired You To Get Into Law?
I've always been intrigued with the legal system and how it impacts our day to day lives.
At 10 years old, I wrote my first homework piece on the death penalty and from there my intrigue in the Law only grew. I always had a keen interest in expanding my knowledge in the Law and eventually applied to read Law at Bournemouth University.
What Is The Most Rewarding Aspect Of Your Role?
I always meet my clients at a very difficult time, having just lost a loved one. There is some comfort in knowing that I've made an incredibly challenging time for that person or family just a little bit easier to navigate.
What Do You Like About Working At Irwin Mitchell?
There's no question left unanswered at Irwin Mitchell. We are each experts in our field and as such, if I'm unable to assist with a particularly specialist query, I'll have a colleague in one of our offices that will be able to help.
What Do You Do Away From The Office?
I am a trustee at Donnington House Care Home and Chairperson of the Chichester Young Professionals Group.
