Biography
I joined Irwin Mitchell in 2011 after completing my Law Degree and Legal Practice Course at Northumbria University. I started my career in the Court of Protection department as an Administrator, progressing to Paralegal in 2013, Trainee Solicitor in 2016 and then qualifying in March 2018.
I am now an Associate Solicitor in our Court Of Protection team based in our Newcastle office. Under a Professional Deputyship, I manage the Property and Affairs of those who lack the mental capacity to do so themselves. I also support those with capacity to manage their own Property and Affairs under a Personal Injury Trust.
What Inspired You To Get Into Law?
Having a plumber as a father and a headteacher as a mother, people often used to ask me what inspired me to pursue a career in law. The answer is I enjoy helping others in times of need.
