Biography
I'm a medical negligence associate solicitor based in our Newcastle office. I help people who’ve suffered an injury because of negligent treatment from a GP, hospital or other healthcare provider.
I manage a variety of cases including surgical, psychiatric, spinal, obstetric, still birth or infant deaths, birth injuries and orthopaedic claims. I also have experience in dealing with claims involving delays in diagnosing cancer.
I work hard to achieve the best results for my clients and help them get the compensation they need to improve their future and quality of life.
What inspired you to get into law?
I wanted to pursue a career that helps people and makes a difference. I also wanted to have a career where I could be argumentative!
I’ve always had an interest in science and almost studied medicine. Specialising in clinical negligence has allowed me to combine medicine with law.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
I take pride in providing my clients with an excellent standard of service.
It’s rewarding to help people through what can be an incredibly difficult time in their lives. I enjoy assisting them in getting the compensation they deserve to improve their quality of life.

What do you do away from the office?
Outside of work I enjoy playing netball, running and fitness classes at the gym. I also enjoy cooking and travelling.
