Biography
I’ve specialised in personal injury law for 25 years and lead the Complex Personal Injury team in Scotland. I’m accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in personal injury law. I’m also a Fellow of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
I specialise in abuse and criminal injury claims. I've a long history of successfully working on personal injury and international claims. I was Chair of ‘Restoring the Balance of Justice’ and helped lead a campaign involving national and international experts and campaigners. We worked to overcome the barriers to justice in Scotland for people who’ve experienced stalking and harassment.
I was a member of the Ogden Working Party and contributed to the 8th Edition and was Chair of the Civil Justice Committee for the Law Society for 10 years. I’m currently an Executive Director of the Association of Child Abuse Lawyers, Secretary for the Forum of Complex Injury Solicitors and Council Member of the WS Society.
